Overlooking the Karuah River on the west side of the bridge, this memorial consists of three stone monuments facing west. Two flagpoles are also located at the rear of the grouping. The centre monument featuring a sculpted lion on the top is the original memorial which was dedicated on 21 December 1918. The stones to the left and right, were added at later dates. Note on veterans' names: All status codes are taken from information in the Australian War Memorial Roll of Honour and the National Archives of Australia.
