This Lone Pine was planted at the front of the Bundarra Central School in 2015, in honour of the Centenary of Anzac. It is accompanied by an upright stone slab, bearing the dedication plaque. The memorial was unveiled by the Minister for Northern Tablelands, Mr Adam Marshall. A number of Lone Pines have been planted throughout Australia to commemorate the Battle of Lone Pine at Gallipoli, which took place from 6–10 August 1915.
