The memorial consists of a Lone Pine tree located on the southern side of the Tamworth Waler Memorial in Tamworth Bicentennial Park. The tree was planted in 2012. On its eastern side are memorial plaques that trace the history of the Light Horse Brigade. Below the tree is a bronze plaque mounted on bush rock, with a raised gold inscription briefly outlining the history of the Turkish Lone Pine tree.
