Five upright stone pillars mounted on a two-tier stone base, complete with name and dedication plaques. The memorial was originally established in honour of those who served in the First World War. Additional names and plaques to commemorate subsequent conflicts have been added at later dates. The memorial is located near the Pambula Art Gallery. Note on veteran's name: S Banks-Smith is given on the memorial as S Bank-Smith. The Australian War Memorial Roll of Honour states Sydney Harold Banks-Smith died as a result of an aeroplane accident.
