This memorial cross is dedicated to Private William Symington, who was killed in action on 7 June 1917 during the First World War. It is made of a highly polished metal, possibly brass. It is decorated with small red stones and is supported by a three-stepped base that is made of the same material. The dedication is inscribed on the front face of the bottom step. The cross is mounted to a timber panel within St John's Anglican Church in Branxton, NSW. Read more about Private William Symington on the NSW War Memorials Register.
